  • noted & appreciated, even though i’m setting french to the side for a sweet hot moment.

is there a spanish corollary to escape pod, do you know?

(tangentially related: i found a recording of borges reading some of his own poems and it is excellent. he’s my wished-for argentinian great-grandfather. we share a birthday. le sigh.)

  • Edward says:

Not that I know of, and I’m not sure where to start looking, but I’ve asked Lucas Moreno, one of the founders of Utopod, just in case he knows.
As for the shared birthday: surely this is fate’s inimitable slithery whisper…

  • when i noticed the dates, i immediately said to myself, “reincarnation. it’s the only sensible answer.”

and then thought, “if i’m borges, then the transition from one life to the next must really work a number on the old brain.”

  • Edward says:

Well, you know… “Unfortunately the world is real; unfortunately I am Borges.” Meanwhile, have you looked into Bull Spec, Durham boy?
